Enthusiastic to help his people, H.E. Cardinal Polycarp Pengo and other ecclesiastical authorities convinced the Sisters to come to Tanzania. In March, 2018, the Sisters came and with the land donated by the archdiocese of Dar es Salaam started the Girlstown. The first 153 girls were accepted in May, 2019.
The construction of 5 five-story buildings for dormitories and 7 seven-story buildings for classrooms was done in 2021. At present, there are 627 girls from 1st to 4th year, and next year, the advanced secondary level will start. Due to the needs of the poor out-of-school youth and kids around the vicinity, a 3 story building was constructed for technical training and pre-primary school in Kiluvya. There are 110 trainees and 90 kinder studying in this place. 184 trainees had graduated and some got jobs in companies some work in their own shops in their houses and some groups started small businesses.
