FOUNDED OCTOBER 7, 1991

In 1989, Venerable Aloysius Schwartz was afflicted with ALS, yet his profound faith and love of the Lord in the poor gave enormous strength to his ailing body. Seeing the needs of the poor in Mexico, he accepted the invitation of Most Rev. Jose Ma. Hernandez Gonzalez, bishop of the Diocese of Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico in establishing Boystown and Girlstown in Chalco. State of Mexico.

In 1998, six years after the death of Fr. Al, Sr. Michaela, his successor, received an invitation from H.E. Juan Cardinal Sandoval Iñiguez, Arcbishop Guadalajara, and governor Alberto Cardenas Jimenez to start a Boystown in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Seeing the needs, the sisters started their boystown programs on November 15, 1998, in such a place. Middle and high school education is offered with intensive training on the following skills:

Girlstown offers Gastronomy, Dressmaking and Embroidery, Fashion Design, Computer Programming, and Technical Accounting.


Boystown: Jewelry making, Auto mechanics, Driving; Lamination and ale Painting, Carpentry, Gastronomy, Computer-aided Design, and Programming Technical Accounting, and others. 28,919 have graduated and sisters assist them to find jobs in different companies and some got scholarships in universities.


A daycare center is also established in Valle de Chalco for kids coming from marginalized families in the neighborhood.
